Hidden Valley Eye Care opened in 2001, and since then our success and growth is largely thanks to word-of-mouth referrals. We want our patients to be happy with our service and care; we are constantly seeking to improve.
Drs. Rice are brothers and grew up in Alberta, Canada. Dr. Brad Rice graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry and began practicing in 1997.
Dr. Dallin Rice had LASIK 2004 and no longer wears glasses; he is happy to talk to you about his LASIK experience and answer any questions you may have. He has been in practice since 2001.

To make your visit to our office as smooth as possible we ask new patients to arrive early to fill out patient information. Bringing your old glasses, sunglasses and contact lens boxes will help us complete your prescription history.
We appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to limit health care costs. Please be prepared to pay any unmet deductibles, co-payments, and patient responsibility amounts at the time of service. We accept cash, check, and most credit cards.
We will submit your claims to your primary insurance carrier. We participate as providers for many Insurance Plans, please contact our office to find out if we accept your insurance. If we do not participate with your insurance carrier, we require payment on the day of service. We will be glad to answer any billing questions you may have.
Drs. Rice are pleased to offer the optomap® Retinal Exam.
The optomap® Retinal Exam raises the standard of care for eye health evaluations in several ways. It provides a digital image of the retina which is the back of your eye in a matter of seconds. The optomap® helps us detect eye conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and retinal tears or detachments. It also aids in detecting serious health issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure. It is important to understand that in most cases, you may not experience any signs or symptoms of eye disease.
